How restaurant bill payments work

View interactive bill / UPI QR checkout demonstration

Public explanation — not a live payment checkout. ThinkTable is a B2B restaurant POS platform. Diners do not buy food or restaurant subscriptions from this marketing website.

1. Restaurant bill

The restaurant creates a final bill in ThinkTable POS and shows the invoice number, payable total, taxes and any discounts. The restaurant remains responsible for its menu prices and its diner-facing refund policy.

2. Dynamic UPI QR (planned integration)

Once an approved gateway integration is active, the POS can request a unique, amount-linked QR for the outstanding bill. The diner scans the QR using a supported UPI app and confirms the payment amount in that app.

3. Confirmation and reconciliation

ThinkTable updates the bill only after a verified gateway response or status check. No payment is accepted through this marketing page.

4. Merchant settlements

Subject to payment-provider approval, the restaurant's portion settles to its verified merchant bank account and a contractually agreed platform commission settles to Unrethink's account. No collection/split service is claimed to be live before the provider enables it.

Other payment methods

Cash, existing card POS terminals, Zomato and other restaurant-owned payment channels remain separate. ThinkTable may record those payments for billing and reconciliation, but does not claim to process them through its UPI gateway.

Merchant software payments

Businesses purchasing ThinkTable itself receive a written quotation and invoice identifying the subscription, any setup charges, GST, discounts and payment terms. For an order, review the pricing process or contact the team. See our refund policy for timings.
